Alien Escape Plan
WASD to move.
Entry for 7 Day Rogue like challenge, I did all of the work this weekend since my weekdays are busy.
My first time finishing a game jam solo and first time using Godot.
All art and music by me, code done by me but following along Thoughtquake's roguelike tutorial for the bulk of it.

Great first 7drl. The soundtrack isn't bad and the art is cool. I wasn't expecting to be blinded by a potion but it was a fun surprise, and it got me excited to discover what other surprises are in the game.
I only just made it as I had 5hp in one place and there were 2 scientists in the ladder room. I lured them out one door then ran round the back and through another door and made it to the stairs. Felt like an intense escape. Really good idea having some rooms with 2 doors. Also having enemies only in rooms and being able to see what's in the rooms before opening doors is really good because you can wander around think strategically as to how to tackle the level. If the walls blocked sight then the game would be far more luck based.
That's quite good for your first solo game ... also in 7 days! A little bit too easy, but better easy and beatable then too hard and unbeatable 8p
Nice work!
Thanks!
Love this game where death is not the end, I can continue playing even after being dead and my ghost kills all the evil scientists and continues onto the next levels xD
Haha yeah, I will try to fix that after the voting period is over.
I agree with Ephiemus that the walking sound is slightly annoying after some time. I also had some trouble moving because i use a non-standard keyboard layout where the WASD keys are not “in a logical order”.
Other than that, i liked it, and think it is well made, specially considering that you did it in, what, two days? Nicely done!
Thanks!
I really liked the soundtrack for the level but that movement sound effect gets really annoying really fast. It would have been interesting if the soundtrack got faster or louder when you got close to the enemies. All the sprites are really well-drawn! Great Job!
Thank you!
